Since its founding in 1891, the College of Engineering has graduated over 28,000 engineers. Currently, it enrolls about 3100 undergraduates and 500 graduate students yearly. There are approximately 125 faculty members.

The OSU College of Engineering houses six schools and programs:

• Biological & Ecological Engineering
• Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering
• Civil & Construction Engineering
• Electrical Engineering & Computer Science
• Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering
• Nuclear Engineering & Radiation Health Physics

We also enjoy strong interdisciplinary ties with the Colleges of Science, Forestry, and Agricultural Sciences. And our cross-institutional collaborations and industry partnerships—for example through ONAMI and the Microproducts Breakthrough Institute—are contributing to the economic development of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, .

As we seek to find new ways to power the global economy, our breakthroughs in wave, solar, nuclear, biofuel, and wind technologies are producing high-impact results in energy generation, and our work in green building and sustainable infrastructure development is setting the pace for energy efficiency advances worldwide.
